The hospital has easy highway access, numerous local
attractions including coast, country and bullet trains to NYC.
Summary:
Coordinate the daily activities between the operating room
and the SPD including last minute changes to the OR
schedule and additional instrumentation and OR schedule
and additional instrumentation and or supply requirements.
Oversees the IT functions for the department that manage
instrumentation and supply requirements for the OR.
EDUCATION: Two-year degree preferred will consider
equivalent work experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be able to communicate in English, as
well as understanding of medical terminology. Knowledge of
spreadsheets words processing, data processing, Materials
Management Information system and mathematics. Proficient
with Lawson, preparing budgets and monthly variance
reports, knowledge of hospital supplies and instrumentation.
Must be a certified sterile processing tech with knowledge of
inventory and OR schedules.
