major metropolitan areas such as Boston.
In collaboration with this premier employer, we are seeking a Clinical Pharmacy
Manager.
Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Clinical
Manager coordinates clinical pharmacy services and ensures that the pharmacy
provides optimal clinical services. Recommends and monitors patient drug
therapy and provides drug information. Interacts with patients, family, and other
healthcare providers as appropriate. Facilitates the development,
implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient
outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Performs duties of a staff
pharmacist as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by
the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy. Certificate as preceptor by the New
Hampshire Board of Pharmacy when eligible.
Education: Undergraduate pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or Pharm. D.)
Experience: Minimum of five (5) year of experience as a registered pharmacist
in a clinical pharmacy position in a hospital setting preferred.
Special qualifications: Must be highly proficient in both written and verbal
communication skills, intravenous admixture skills and have moderate
proficiency in use of computer keyboard/terminal, electronic calculator/typewriter.
(typing 20-30 wpm).
SCHEDULE:
Primarily days with the occasional evening. Operating hours are 8A-10P.
COMPENSATION:
$42.95-$58.60 per hour with an impressive benefits package.
