Clinical Pharmacist works closely with other health practitioners to meet the
various needs of pediatric patients. They improve the health of patients by
providing pharmaceutical care to individual patients and by serving as a
resource for physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. Clinical
pharmacists review and approve medication orders, monitor drug therapies,
and provide drug information. They educate students, interns and residents.
This is a growing Trauma One facility with expanding pharmacy services and
exceptional organizational culture.
The ideal candidate has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, has at least 2 years
pediatric experience in a hospital setting, or has completed a pharmacy
residency with pediatric emphasis or a pediatric specialty residency. Must be
licensed in MA or eligible.
