Vancouver, B.K. This progressive employer seeks a change agent to join a tight-
knit, cohesive staff, while working with well regarded leadership. This forward
thinking facility boasts a music therapy program and offers a good many
preventative care and community education programs.
Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, this position directs and
coordinates the operations of the 17.5 FTE Rehabilitation Services Department.
Oversee PT, OT, Speech, Massage and Acupuncture. The Manager’s duties
include but are not limited to: the development of high quality, cost effective
services, staff oversight and education, development of policies and
procedures, preparation and management of the budgets, and establishing
standards for patients' participation in physical therapy. Candidates should
have knowledge in the areas of budget development, management techniques,
quality assurance, program development and legislative effects on physical
therapy.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in a
Healthcare related field, such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc. A
minimum of 3 years as a healthcare professional in a related field and a
minimum of 2 years in a healthcare leadership position is required.
