Our client, a medium sized hospital in Southern New Hampshire, continues to

Benchmarks for Success” Award, patient safety has also earned the hospital
national recognition from the Institute of Safe Medication Practices. Patient
satisfaction scores in recent years have been amongst the highest of all
hospitals surveyed by Gallup across the nation.
Recently having undergone an increase in pay scales for all positions
organization wide, our client has the ability to attract and retain the finest
physicians and staff, and many professional opportunities are opening up as
the facility continues to expand its scope of services. Technologically, the
hospital is entering an era of competitiveness with renown medical centers in
major metropolitan areas such as Boston.
In collaboration with this premier employer, we are seeking a registered nurse
for the cath lab, for the delivery of age-specific, direct patient care.
RN incorporates appropriate assessment and intervention skills in all
interactions and delivery of nursing care. Communicates with patients, team
members, and management in an accurate, timely manner. Applies critical
thinking skills and considers alternatives. Develops and maintains human care
relationships. Acknowledges the impact illness/hospitalization has on patients
and families; recognizes the importance of teamwork among care providers;
adapts care management for diverse populations and environments; advocates
for needs of clients; provides care in ethical and legal manner; refers
concerns/issues to appropriate resources. Manages self and resources
effectively. Applies leadership skills. Incorporates teaching in delivery of care
with a focus on heath promotion. Applies knowledge of the patient populations
served within unit/area of hire. Demonstrates the unit-specific skills required for
assigned role and service area. Maintains other required competencies.
Demonstrates attendance and punctuality, attends meetings, participates in
continuing education programs and mandatory education to maintain
competence and gain additional skills. Documents attendance. Annual
absenteeism will not exceed HR standards, attends at least 50% of staff
meetings, reads communications. Identifies personal learning needs based on
performance, sets goals for the next 12 months. Meets goals established
previously.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support Certification, Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse who is
eligible for state RN boards
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, one year nursing experience
There is a full time position and a 24 hour part-time position, both offering
generous compensation and benefits.
