ABOUT THE JOB:
The Clinician functions as a Nurse Lead Clinician, taking clinical leadership
and leadership of the unit’s flow, scheduling and patient care, to include
working cases. Participate in projects. Troubleshooting. Hours are "day
rotation," with variable hours and limited call. This position requires 5 day
coverage with shifts that vary from 7AM starts, to 8AM-4PM, to ten hour days,
short days, and no weekends, though weekends may become a reality in the
distant future. This position coordinates vacations and coverage. There is not a
lot of call, and some nurses wait in a hotel for their call. As long as you can be
within 30 minutes of the hospital it will be okay. Your residence does not need
to be within 30 minutes of the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS:
RN in Mass., or eligible.
Experience in cardiac care nursing or highly related environment required.
Leadership experience preferred.
BSN preferred, but experience matters most

cath lab is utterly comprehensive, and supports imaging, CVOR, congenital
center, failures and transplants, valve center, arrhythmia and hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy centers, preventive care and women’s heart health initiative.
There are 3 cath rooms, with more to be added. This position is mainly adults,
and the pediatric component will reduce over time due to a new ECMO
program.
