emergency angioplasty. To accommodate emergency needs, the hospital
recently opened an additional interventional lab (also called a cardiac
catheterization lab) for special procedures.
The hospital includes a heart center satellite of a major medical teaching
school. They offer 24/7 Angioplasty, acute heart attack patients, interventonal
cariology, state-of-the-art cath lab, EP/electrophysiology, diagnostic and cardiac
rehab services. In collaboration with a cardiac ER and ICU, they provide
immediate and intermediate care. The cardiovascular service line boasts the
greatest advances in the patient centered care trends.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, BS,
BSN). CT license or CT license eligible required.
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required. Critical care
experience preferred. ACLS required.
HOURS: Monday- Friday 7:30 am-5:00 pm, on call rotation required. Hours will
vary based on a four day work week.
